TIP 1.
Exacting primer seating depth will also help accuracy. But I’m sure the question you are asking right now is what reloading tool can do this?
Its called a ram prime die.
This die looks like any other reloading die, except that you fit a shellholder at the top of the die, insert a live primer, and use the full stroke of the press to seat all primers at exactly the same depth each stroke, after adjusting die depth in the press for the desired priming depth (just below flush).
TIP 2.
Accuracy and individually weighed powder charges go hand in hand. But we all know this is a tedious job, especially when charging 50-100 cases at a time.
What to do?
Setup your powder thrower to throw a charge about 0.5 to 1 grain less than the desired amount. This charge goes directly into a scale pan, which is then placed on the scale, and bring the scale into balance using a powder trickler.
Using this simple method, I can precisely charge about 50 cases in less than 14 minutes!
TIP 3.
Have you ever used a chronograph?
Shooting chronographs such as the Chrony and Pact give you useful information like the actual velocity of your favourite loads, and you can also check whether velocities are uniform.
Such information is desirable from the viewpoint of obtaining good and consistent accuracy. You can also discover which powder will give you the highest velocity in a specific cartridge, while staying within the pressure limits.
